Hello! My name is Adam Buchanan, and I spent my youth growing up on Vancouver Island, on the west coast of Canada. After high school I moved to the southern interior of British Columbia and spent the next decade in the forests and mountains working for BC Wildfire and suppressing forest fires across the province. In the winter months I was afforded a few months to hop on a plane and head somewhere interesting.
I moved to Vancouver in the spring of 2018 and began working in commercial film, working with brands such as Gore-tex, BMW, McDonald’s, and Mitsubishi. It was a great experience, but I quickly learned my passions lies within telling real stories about real people.
I believe there is beauty and story everywhere you look, if you look hard enough. That’s what I’m always trying to find.
